The White Whale is an independent library, reading room, and study space located in the heart of Wollongong.Library: Our personal collection of books available to borrow. We're talking philosophy, sociology, poetry, literature, spirituality, history, journalism and a bunch more.If you're looking for something particular, or would like to put a book on hold, feel free to get in touch.Reading Room: Comfortable seats. Soft lighting. Interesting reads. Tea. Coffee.Study Space: A dedicated study room for deep work or collaboration. Available for bookings.Events: We don't even know yet. We're still settling in. Film screenings? Group meditations? Dharma talks? Literature or philosophy discussion groups? Get in touch to let us know what you think.Becoming a Member: Head into the space and chat with Bree or Will at reception. Membership is free. If you’d like to help support the library, patron memberships are also available.
